Where should I park?

Park in any marked available spot in front of our shop, but please DO NOT BLOCK OUR GARAGE DOORS. If the lot is full, park in the closest available space and let a service advisor know where you parked your car.

What is the after hours drop-off procedures?

There is an envelope holder mounted to the wall, this box contains envelopes and pens so you can fill out a description of the work to be done as well as leave your keys with us. The drop mailbox is located between the first garage bay and the office door, this box is locked and secure.

Drop-off procedure:
-Park in reserved spot (without blocking garage doors)
-Lock your vehicle.
-Complete the front of the drop-off envelop. Make sure to leave a daytime phone number where you can be reached.
-Place just your car key and any necessary alarm remote in the envelope and seal it.
-Put the sealed envelope through the mail slot of our mailbox between the first bay door and office door.

How should I get my car towed in?

We recommend R&F towing in New Milford CT 06776. If it is during business hours please call us and we will arrange towing with you. If it is after hours or on the weekend, call R&F Towing at (860) 355-0330 and arrange with then to tow the car to our facility. If you have a unusually long tow request please contact us direct because we might be able to save you money by using one of our race trailers and trucks.

Can you give me a ride?

We provide shuttle service during all our business hours to and from Auto Technic when your car is in for service.

What is the best method of payment?

We accept cash and check as well as credit or debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We cannot extend credit to anyone for any reason. We will be glad to work out a repair schedule that meets your budgeting goals.

How long can I leave my car at your facility?

If you cannot pick up your car the day it is repaired then please make arrangements with a service advisor due to the limited parking space. Winter and long-term storage can be arranged with your service advisor at Auto Technic’s heated storage facility.

Do you do factory warranty work?

We do not provide service under factory warranties.

Do you do aftermarket warranty work?

Yes. We will be glad to diagnose and contact the warranty company for you. Once payment has been issued we can release the car to you. Please be aware that some repairs or parts may not be covered under an aftermarket warranty, and you might be responsible for a balance due after the repair. See your service advisor for details.

Do you install customer-supplied parts?

Yes. If the part is of high quality and from reputable supplier we will install your parts. We just always ask you to compare our prices on items because 95% of the time we can beat anyone’s prices on similar items.

Can you do bodywork?

Yes, we can handle your entire collision work request. We do all estimating and handling of your insurance claims with your assigned adjusters. All work is completed in house and all needed paint work is substituted out to an Auto Technic approved paint facility.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 10% discount up to $50 for all current BMW Car Club of America BMW CCA members at the time of service. If you are not a current member, call or stop by for a membership application.
