Who We Are

Jeff Henderson : Founder/ Co-Owner/ Service Advisor Since 1999.

Jeff founded Auto Technic in September of 1999, one year after graduating Quinnipiac University with a degree in Marketing. He brought years of experience with him after having worked in the BMW performance parts and racing industries. Jeff has had major roles in such companies as Noble Foreign Auto Parts, Turner Motorsport, Bilstein of America, and Skip Barber Racing School. In his free time Jeff likes to spend time with his two dogs, Detour and Pothole. Jeff’s personal cars consist of a 1985 Jeep Wrangler and a modified 2008 Vespa 250 GTS scooter.


Robert Driscoll : Co-Owner/ Service Advisor Since 1999

Rob started at Auto Technic with many years experience working for BMW. After graduating Western Connecticut State University with a degree in computer systems, Rob realized that his passion for BMWs was too strong, and decided to make it his life long career. Rob has since worked in sales at BMW of Watertown, CT and Inskip BMW of Warwick, RI. In his free time, Rob enjoys time with his son, and playing basketball. Rob’s personal cars consist of a nicely restored 1985 BMW 325e and a 1993 Yamaha FZR 600 motorcycle.


Jared Lamanna : Technician Since 2005

Jared came to us from VW/Audi of Alexandria, VA specializing in electrical diagnosis. Jared takes great pride in resolving all the hardest issues that arrive on our customers’ cars and is our chief race mechanic. Jared is also an avid runner and golfer and recently became a homeowner in Torrington, CT. Jared’s personal rides consist of a clean 1997 BMW 328i and a 1975 Honda CB750 Motorcycle.


Mike McLaughlin : Technician Since 2006

Mike came to Auto Technic with over 10 years of professional experience as an ASE Certified technician. Throughout his career Mike has worked on all makes and models, even snowmobiles and ATV’s. However he prefers working on German cars, knowing that’s where the best technology is. Mike also likes spending his free time fishing and playing with is dog Yippy. Mike owns an array of personal cars including a 2000 BMW 323i, 1995 Jeep Cherokee, 1966 Chevrolet Impala SS and a 2008 Honda CBR600RR motorcycle.


Chris Danielski : Operations Assistant since 2000

Chris has been with Auto Technic off and on since the beginning. Now full time since 2006, Chris helps with all aspects of the business. Chris’s experience came from selling new and used BMWs and Minis at Hassel BMW in Freeport, NY. His main focus here at Auto Technic is to provide a great working environment and to keep everything running smoothly. Chris can fill in for any department here at Auto Technic and perform a stellar job. Chris personal cars consists of a 1987 BMW 325is, 1988 Ford F250 4x4, 1966 Jeep CJ5, 1971 “RHD” Toyota Celica, and a 1985 BMW K100 motorcycle.


Bob Driscoll : Operation Manger Since 2005

Bob brings 29 years of operations experience to the Auto Technic team; performing every task from parts inventory to project implementation. In his free time Bob enjoys history and traveling. Bobs personal cars are a 1992 BMW 735IL, 1994 BMW 740IL, 1997 MB E-320, 1998 BMW 528i and a very nice 2000 Poulan Pro16 H.P. (42 inch cut riding mower).
